Steve Beavers and Tom  Beavers, Merseyside, EnglandSteve Beavers comes from the Wirral, Merseyside, England and was born in the 1960s. His aid is his son Thomas.

Steve joined England Wales Blind Golf in 2005. He has played on the Auld Enemies Cup Team on 12 occasions, captaining the team in 2016 and 2017. He was runner up in the Irish Blind Golf Open, Roganstown in 2014. > Amongst his other achievements, he has won the EWBG Chairman’s Cup, the EWBG Primary Club Matchplay and the EWBG Lawrence Levy British Blind Masters. This is his third appearance at the Vision Cuphaving played in Georgia and Italy.

Something interesting about Steve is that he is an early-retired teacher. He graduated in Physical Education and Sport Science from Loughborough University in 1983. He taught PE for several years, though by the end of his career, he was working as a peripatetic Qualified Teacher of the Visually Impaired. Football was his mains sport and he played for England in the 2004 Partially Sighted World Championship. His home golf club is Wallasey Golf Club, the home of Stableford.
